A goldfish that doesn't eat, is a sign something is wrong. I have seen goldfish eat when they were real sick, and only when they were nearest to death did they stop eating. I suspect he's not swimming much either, or laying on the bottom, hovering at the water line, fins clamped? All signs of severe stress from something. There is really no information to help you in your post.
Now if you just got the fish yesterday, or a couple of days ago, and he's swimming around fine, and alert with fins up and out, then he could just be stressed from his move to the new home. Sometimes it does take a while for the fish to settle down and get used to the new food and feeding schedule. Not all goldfish are equally as smart either, some take longer to find the food than others. If your fish is a globe eyed fish, celestial, or bubble eye, well their vision is very poor, and they may sence the food long after everyone else has eaten. That's why its not a good idea to house moors and comets together. The comet grows fat and the moor starves.
If the latter is not the case, repost your water perameters ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. If the fish is in a bowl, he's a goner. Hopefully you will tell how big your aquarium is. How often and how much water do you change? How long not eating?
Skin and fin condition, and activity level. GF should book around all day long, doing this and that. Fins up and out. Eyes clear. Scales smooth and bright. They should feel slimy to the touch. If no slime, PROBLEM. Too much slime, where you can see it trailing off of the fish, PROBLEM. No flight response is a bad sign, as well as flipping, rolling, yawning, fin flicking, scratching, darting, sinking, floating, huffing and puffing, eyes protruding, scales protruding, gills held open, hanging constantly around the filter outflow, ragged fins, fuzz on the body or mouth, wounds, black spots, white spots, drifting with the flow of the water, swollen abdomen, red streaks in fins or body, cloudy eyes, skinny, soft belly. Any of these signs for more than a day is cause for concern.
Right now. stop trying to feed and start changing water. Repost with specifics and someone here can help.

How long has it been? Have you changed food? Test the water to see if his environment has changed, if not, try another food.
Goldfish are pretty strong.
