How do you determine what your classification is in college?

I know that a scale regarding how many hours you have is normally used, but what's the breakdown of it?

Usually it is calcuated by 15 credits a semester

Freshman-0-29
Sophomore 30-59
Junior 60-89
Senior 90-120+

Mostly, How many hours you pass (meaning the class that you have get a grade of C to A) but the simplest way is using how many years.

Depends on your college, but it's normally 24 credits for sophomore standing, 48 for junior standing, and 72 for senior standing
