while pregnant, you should try to cut out the caffeinated drinks. my doc said that the equivalent of (4) 8 oz. cups of coffee (NOT the 11 oz mugs that are common now) was safe. and recent studies have shown that caffeine is not as harmful as once thought.
on of those/day would probably not harm the baby, however the high sugar and fat content and the preservatives and additives in the frappuchino drinks are the real culprits. do you really need all that sugar/fat in your diet right now? not to mention, what benefit do artificial flavors or colors have for you or the baby? why not try just a simple cup of coffee? and if you can stand it straight, then with just a couple of tablespoons of cream or non-dairy creamer?

Recent studies have proven that 2-3 regular 8oz cups of coffee is perfectly safe. I had my 2 cups of coffee before one of my ultra sounds when I was pregnant with my son and it did not change his heart rate at all. NO NOT drink decaf. A lot of those use chemicals that take the caffine out and that is worse for the baby than the caffine

My Dr told me I could drink 1/2 cup coffee or 1 cup of soft drink per day on a regular basis. I have also read this several times. Could you get by with drinking half of it? Maybe start drinking a little less everyday till you are just drinking half. I was also hooked on caffeine and I had to basically wean myself down from it.

I wouldn't exceed more than 2 or 3 cups of coffee or caffeine products in one day while pregnant. I read that 2 or 3 cups is a safe amount. But, dont overdo it if you don't need it. Try 3 a day during the week and 2 on weekends, or see if you can buy something decaffeinated. No caffeine and then you're fine.
Good luck and congrats on the pregnancy!

Call Starbucks customer service and ask how much caffiene is in it.
I suspect that you are limited to 1 a day there is probably a fair amount of caffeine

Most doctors will allow you two cups of coffee in a day, but you should ask yours about Starbucks. That stuff is like high-powered octane compared to your garden-variety break room coffee pot.

I had tea all through my pregnancy before caffeine became another 'evil food stuff' and my kids were just fine. Tea has more caffeine than just about any coffee.
Enjoy your coffee your not selfish your pregnant!

you are allowed to still have a cup or two of coffee while carring, the bottle should tell you how much is in there.
