Pachelbel's "Canon" should be perfect. It's simple and light, with a delicate yet solemn feel to it.
Congratulations! Here comes a kiss for the bride... :-D

I'm so sick and tired of the Pachelbel thing I could.....
Well, anyway, except for that, the pieces mentioned above would be nice, but I vote for "The Swan" section of Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals - it is pretty, soft, classical and describes a swan swimming in a calm pond.
There's also Meditation from Thais, an opera by Massenet.

I had a classical pianist at my ceremony and he played a beautiful "Cannon in D" by Pachelbel. LOVE IT!!!
This isn't classical, but you might want to consider the love song from West Side Story. It's beautiful too.

air on the g string.
it's one of the most gorgeous pieces ever written for me. (bach)......the piano solo version is amazing.
(and yes....the name is a bit funny) :)
peace,

EDIT: pachelbel's canon is gorgeous, but it's a seasonal....many associate it with christmas. "air" is often used in weddings
