I am completely lost when it comes to tet-ionic equations for hydrolysis. So if anyone could help I would really appreciate it =) Thanks a lot!

NaC2H3O2(sodium acetate)
NH4Cl(ammonium chloride)
ZnCl2(zinc chloride)
KAl(SO4)2(potassium aluminum sulfate)

CH3COO- + H2O -----> CH3COOH + OH-

(CO3)2- is very similar. Take a proton off a water molecule like the example above.

Zn2+ and Al3+ are also very similar:

[Zn(H2O)6]2+ + H2O ----> [Zn(H2O)5OH]+ + H3O+

The ammonium ion reacts with water to form ammonia and H3O+. Over to you!
