Did anyone experience a slow leaking of amniotic fluid b4 they went into labor?
I'm just trying to figure out whats going on down there!(i'm 37 weeks and 4 days)
is it the consistency of water?

you can leak fluid before labor. it is very thin like water. if you know that you are not leaking urine, then it's probably amniotic fluid. you can go to the hospital and they can check you to make sure.

If you are leaking amniotic fluid at 37 weeks, call your doctor. He'll want you to come in most likely. They can do a test on the fluid itself to see if it is amniotic fluid or not. If you are wearing a pantyliner, you'll just give it to the nurse and she'll do the little paper test to see if it is or not.

The first time my water broke, it started as a slow leak. Maybe three hours later, I went to stand up and it all gushed down my leg.

You need to go to the Hospital and have it checked out. They can tell if it is or not. You need to know,its not good to have your water broke for to long due to infections.

you better go to the hospital or doctors they can samples the fluid or swab you and it will let them know it varries it vcan burst or trinkle, mine trinkled and 2 others it splash
