Awhile ago there was an article or feature about this on the news. The consensus is that 10:10 is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and that that position tends to show off the watch face better than some other positions.

mom consistently used to insist that 10:10 became the time that Christ became born, and that it can no longer were a regulation, yet watches easily does no longer promote in the adventure that they were blasphemous. . Did I factor out that I grew up really, really twisted?

I've never paid attention to that!!! I have no clue, but I'll be looking at the time next time I see a watch commercial. lol
