Overweight contestants don't appeal to me. These people want a career in show business. Talent is part of it but image is important as well. The winners get a huge - no pun intended - following of teenage fans who don't need to get the message that "fat is where it's at" because obesity is becoming an epidemic health problem in kids as it is.
