I would suggest that you invest money in a personal trainer. You probably need someone to guide you through your workouts and give you tips on healthy eating. You deserve to spend a little money on yourself!

We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!

Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.

Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?

I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

I am not a mom but the secret to weight loss is to not go over your caloric limit. I know it is very hard to count calories but if you want a sure fire way to lose weight without keeping up with big numbers then do weight watchers. You don't have to join anything, pay anything, or go to any meetings. Just eat between 23-25 points a day. You can find out the points of certian foods by typing it the food and "weight watchers points" beside of it. You can find tons of recipes online too for free. You can eat all the veggies you want for 0 points so you will never go hungry. I have faith in you and I know you can be the hot sexy momma you always wanted to be, hehe.

Not a mum but would say use the stairs instead of escalators/lifts., just eat healthy food and don't worry about the size of your stomach., just concentrate on increasing the amount of excersize you do to a reasonable amount and do excercise that you know you are going to enjoy. In terms of diet eat lean meat and cut out the margarine/butter/cooking oils., if you need a snack eat a variety of fruits.

Try Slimming World! I tried everything, starvation diets, exercise regimes etc. and only when I did a Slimming World programme did I lose weight. I eat lots but all the right things and am able to eat chocolate in moderation but have still maintained my loss! try it! Good luck!

Try going to your local YMCA and get a membership. They do have programs that will give you a discount membership if you need it.

There is plenty to do there. Plus, they have classes there that are free just for being a member.

I have been going to the Y for the past 2 months and I have lost close to 20 lbs.
