No,water weight gain or bloating is usually temporary when its associated with a women's hormonal levels and menstrual cycle .When you have water retention showing up at your ankles and hands,then that may be a sign of something serious etc. Take care. SW FNP

It is often the other way round. Obesity dramatically increases the risk of fluid retention. This means that many women who are already obese also then have significant fluid retention, which makes everything worse!

no it may be because your on the pill?? but water retention is pms...i get it and it's not nice and can make you feel fat and bloated!! but i buy herbal tablets from tesco's anf they work a treat!! =]

ps the Jasmin pill is meant to be the most effective for releaving water retention!

when u have water, u gain more weight, but u become bloted not fat!!! u need to walk and to drink alot of water so u will make alot of pipi (urina) and drink many herbal teas, such as green teas, they are really good!! if u are in doubt consult your family doctor!!!

FYI:did you know that if you suffer from water retention that...
ice cubes can make you retain more than salt can?
Try useing those frozen mugs instead
If you don't believe it ...try it I'll bet it helps

no sometimes if the health condition is fixed they suddenly lose all the weight because it was just water.

no - its normally due to hormonal changes you hold on to more water than normal. When your hormones go back to normal your body releases that water
