Well sometimes children have to grow into their features. Most models were ugly as children.

I'm not sure if you're serious or just joking.

I grew up with my entire family making fun of how I looked. My Mother would tell me how ugly I was when I was born (first born child) and she would be ashamed to take me out for walks because people would want to look into the baby carriage. She would tell them that I made strange and would cry when I saw their faces. All this just to avoid people see how ugly I was.

Then as I grew up family and friends used to tease me about the size of my HUGE nose! I always thought that as soon as I had a job and earned enough money to get a nose job done .... then I would be beautiful!

Well as it turns out ... I did have a long term boyfriend in high school and I met several men in my life that didn't even notice that I had a large nose. My personality took over and I think because of all the teasing I ended up becoming a person who is sensitive to other people's feelings and needs. I never did get a nose job and wouldn't even consider of having one done.

Love your children for who they are, be honest with them, but teach them about a good sense of humour and that they are much more than a FACE! If they have kind hearts that beat inside them (which I don't doubt that they do) and a good brain in their heads, then all will be well!

If you are simply joking with your question ... well then thanks for letting me share my story with you. : )

If this is a serious question...do all you can to improve their appearance through clothing, a good hair cut, etc. You could save up a fund for plastic surgery, but that is something they need to decide on as an adult.

Also build up their confidence so they know who they and are proud of themselves and their skills.

Society can be very negative and discriminate on looks. Children can be especially cruel once they hit the pre-teen years.

Wow that was a bad mistake on your part. If you are that hideous maybe you should have adopted or something. Or if you hooked up with someone that was hideous... maybe you should have paid to sleep with someone a little more attractive. There's nothing you can do now. Unless you want to leave them in front of a supermarket or something. But i wouldnt do that if i were you. You'd tick off a lot of customers.

No you don't. There are no ugly children! Bad mannered perhaps, selfish maybe, but not ugly. Just as there are no ugly women (unless it comes from inside them. Men...uummmm, well now that's a whole nuther ball game.

I think you're stuck with em dude. Try putting a bow on their head or put a baby chick in their hands. That always makes someone look cute.

No mother believes her children are ugly, just as every child believes mother is God.
