I had an abortion on Jan. 27th and I haven't gotten my period yet. They told me it would be 6-8 weeks for me to get my period. I just hit 8 weeks this past Saturday. It's just spotting in the afternoons for over a week now. Does this mean something? Could I have gotten pregnant again?

if you have been sexually active without protection, it's possible. the 6-8 weeks was simply a guide. every single person is different so just give it another few days. if you are still worried and you still don't get your period, talk to your doctor; that's what they're there for.

i know Yahoo! Answers isn't your moral barometer, but abortion is not the option. way too many women (if not all of them, ultimately) who get abortions are disappointed with their choice and it affects them for the rest of their life. next time, use birth control, condoms or abstinence.
