Well-despite the Gerber baby look, most kids look like this till they are older and some never look like the Gerber baby. His weight sounds ok to me. Round face-C-section I would guess-is just a face shape of many little ones. And thin legs are normal too. All baby's develop at the pace that is right for them-if your doctor is not worried by the weight and length then you shouldn't be either. You will have a ton of other things to worry about ;-)

My son is 2 and only weighs 22 lbs. He is smaller than most, but developmentally he is fine. If the doctor says everything is ok than do not worry or compare your baby to others. My son also has super chunky face and thin legs. Don't worry

babies grow from the head first in the womb thus yhe last part of the body which grows into definable form are the toes.
this is how the human body developes.
so its perfectly normal for babies to look like this.
terms like `gangly, lanky, loafing ....etc teenager` , come about because as we grow from top- to- toe we do this in sections.
either the right or the left leg for example legs gets a growth spurt then the other follows. different shoe size on either foot back this up.
Strange but true!!!!

Babies develop differently. Rest assured that he will fill out and look normal as he continues to grow. My son didn't even weigh 12 lbs. at 3 months, so you shouldn't worry at all as long as the doctors say he's healthy! Good luck.
