I went off the patch last month and I had a period a week later. Today is day 26 of my cycle. I was wondering...since this will be my fist whole month without being on the patch, how long do you think I should wait before I take a test. I have heard some girls on here say they are on day 30. I just don't want to get all excited on day 29 and then not be pregnant. How many days do you think I should wait untill I am 'late' ???

I would wait at least til cycle day 40 and even then don't get your hopes up. A lot of women don't get a period for a coIuple months after coming off birth control. If you don't get a period within 3 months then see your dr to have a period induced.
Also, to save money on numerous tests get the dollar store ones--ALL pg. tests in the US have to be approved by the FDA and they are all the same. The dollar store ones are sometimes even more sensitive than the expensive ones. www.peeonastick.com

Since you are just coming off of the patch, it would be hard to determine when you would be "late" for your period. When coming off of birth control it takes a couple of months before you establish a regular period. The good news is that some women tend to be more fertile when the come off of birth control because of their hormones being out of wack. Don't give your hopes up on trying though.
