Try to realize that every one has a different process of thinking. A question that sounds so stupid to you could be very hard for someone to figure out, vice versa. Sometimes when people ask questions, they already know the answers and just need reassurance.
As for the ones who curse you and take out their anger on you, they are the ones who are hurt deep inside and they have wrongly chosen to bring you down with them. And also the ones who act crazy don't realize that you are human also and that you are just trying to do your job. Try and understand people all make mistakes and usually when someone is rude to you, they will often regret it (after they hang up of course).
Appreciate the callers with great manners. I do believe that if we treat EVERYONE with respect, respect will eventually come back around. Be patient and keep up the good work!

That's great that you are aware that you become frustrated pretty easily, and it sounds as though you do want to change your approach with the callers/customers that you deal with. I'm sure that dealing with different customers can be quite stressful with there not being a job manual for all types of situations that can arise, however, please try to remember that the person on the other line is typically not angry or upset with you, the operator, but with the situation that is causing them frustration whether a product that they ordered, for example, didn't arrive at their home or if a product is less than quality of what they had anticipated.
Perhaps you can also take some assertive training classes as well as anger management in how to deal with certain scenarios if they should occur. Role playing with others can perhaps help and perhaps that would take place at those types of classes. And perhaps you may benefit from personal one-to-one counseling as well.

Try self hypnosis or meditation when you aren't at work. When you are at work, try to take slow deep breaths when you feel yourself getting angry. Customer Service ain't easy. You have to realize that people aren't really angry with you personally, so try not to take it personally. Just tell them you want to help them and genuinely sound concerned. If you have to use scripts (ugh!) tell them that you have to go through all the steps to troubleshoot their problem.
Also, don't use caffeine if you can help it. Try vitamin laced drinks, like vitamin water, and healthy food to get you through your day.

I deal with all kinds of crazy people - and these were allowed to reproduce! What gets me thru when they're getting on my last nerve is to smile - even possessedly - and in my head, give them the finger. By smiling when talking, it makes you sound less p*ssed off.
