My son has nasal allergies and just started on the med. Just wondering what to expect. He's 8 months old. Thanks!

Please watch his pupils.

I react very badly to many medications and one of the tell tale signs is that my pupils either get really big or reduce to pinpoints. Your son can't tell you if he is dizzy or his mouth feels weird or a myriad of other things but watch his pupils!

My son has been on Singular for about a year now (19 months) and it has helped the allergie issues some. The big thing I found was it leads to constipation-make sure he is drinking juice. If he isn't goin or it is well, um, hard and firm-sorry-then a little prune juice will help. My son is older but I have had good luck with the V-8 Fusion (full serving of fruit and veggies in a glass) cause it taste good and gets him going. Try it as half water half juice. Prune juice works but the taste makes it hard to get down.

Also, try not to give it too close to bedtime till you see how it affects him. My son needs about 2 hours from taking it till bedtime to be able to sleep well. Other wise, Singular didn't have many side effects at all-that was why our ped uses it for allergies and asthma.
