Search the webcam manufacturer's website for Vista, to see if they have a Vista-compatible driver for your hardware. If they don't, you'll have to wait until they come out with one. Til' then, you're stuck waiting.

windows vista has made it to where if you have it you will have to go get all new stuff like scanner,copier,ECT,We had the same thing happen when we bought a new computer.Had a repair guy here for 200 dollars worth of time and he said we have to go buy new stuff cause all the things we had will not work with vista.Made me so mad.We are far from being rich

Get rid of Vistas, it is crap anyways. Install XP. Problem solved.

first things first how new is web camera. If very new then go to manufactures website and get vista driver from them. If not very new you need to get another camera.
