because americans "care" to much...because we are soft wusses who have forgotten what it takes to create freedom. We have become a bunch of politically correct, wimps who govern by polls. If the revolutionary war or WWI or WWII happened today...we would lose...because americans no longer have the cajones to do what needs to be done. The best of america is over in Iraq right now. Stop governing according to the left wing media and silly liberals and fight the war the way it should be done.

I was in that crap for 3 years. I am a United States Marine. We have these things called rules of engagement. We cannot fire until fired upon. So, it gives the enemy a chance to shoot and run. If they would just lift the rules of engagement and say, "Kill everyone" that would solve the problem. We could wipe that place clean in less than a week. Pull all other branches of the military out and just leave a few platoons of marines with a boat load of ammo and say HAVE FUN. This would end the so called war.

Because they are after the profits from the oil, and the rebuilding companies are all American.
It would be a bit like shooting yourself in the foot.

well aside from the calateral damage & lost innocent life... It's an outrageously extreme method, considered genocide & will probably make it harder to find the oil.
