there'll never be a correct statistic for u . s . or any u . s . because, as you say, surveys are few and far between. Surveys that were executed by technique of Kinsey etc, propose that 10% of the worlds inhabitants is gay. modern surveys propose that this determine is in all probability to be larger because men extraordinarily do not opt for to admit to being gay.
