lost power and got started after and runs VERY rough, does anyone know any why?now it ticks very loud anyone know why?

It almost definitely sucked in some water. This would necessitate the engine being rebuilt. Always be careful driving through water, and never drive through deep water. Try getting a vehicle with a snorkel next time...

Go back to where he lost the power and see if you can find it. If not K-Mart has power on sale this week. There were probably wood ticks around the water puddle and they got on the engine where the power fell off at. Take a Harts Flea & Tick collar and wrap it around your air cleaned and this should get rid of the ticks.

I am guessing they were at a higher speed, ignition components got wet, engine mis-fire caused the engine cylinders to ''jump'' may have caused a lifter to collapse which would cause hard start and engine miss. if you can carefully dis-connect one spark plug cable at a time you might be able to isolate the concern- be careful the shock from the spark plug cable is that -shocking. also you might be able to hear a stray spark jumping. footnote-- some of these vehicles have a gm warranty extension the spark plug cables, bulletin #00032.

In jested water into the intake and bent a valve or two. Major teardown required most likely.
