He's done a lot of dochey things in the years following the Beatles, especially the last 15 or so years, but signing with the Starbucks music label (which shouldn't even exist) was the last straw for me. I don't drink Starbucks coffee and won't listen to any of their music.
But the Beatles are my favorite band ever and absolutely my gods as a group...

To quote Ringo... "Paul acted like a spoilt child"
I always felt Paul was the major reason The Beatles broke up.
He's a big-headed,self-serving perfectionist.
I've always been a Lennon man myself.

I am sorry, but you have gotten him mistaken. Sir Paul is a very niceman. It is too bad he married a selfish woman with a horrible temper~ Think about how he and Linda were back in the day and were married over 30 yrs before she passed away. i mean most celebs break up ...not this man. he is a wonderful songwriter and singer and so is Ringo Starr. Lennon was too, but he had some problems with his older son Julian ....long story...but...so the answer to your question (in my opinion) is no he is not a douche. I actually love Paul McCartney~ps.... so what about te starbucks thingy...that should not make a person dislike his wonderful music...have a nice day though...just thought i would give u my opinion~

I really don't care for McCartney Music, even when he was with the Beatles. He is a great Musician ,but I don't think he wrote that many good songs , unlike Lennon or Harrison.
So it doesn't bother me in the lest.

I really don't understand why I am supposed to think any worse of him for signing with Starbucks as opposed to some major label like Warner Bros or Universal. I don't like Starbucks either, but why should anyone really care who releases his records?

I have to bow to his Business Sense. He's been such a major influence to Music, for so long. I have to give in to what he thinks is right. But, you are right in that no one will ever top the Beatles for shear talent and Fan Base. They rocked like no other has.

Sounds like your problem is with Starbucks and not the performer. Don't judge the performer and his/her music just because you don't drink the coffee.

I don't agree with you but with that said his music has disappointed me since he left the Beatles.
And I love the Beatles music just like you do.
