I'm not competing with her.I don't know whether she thinks I am,but I am not a person who does that.

THE REAL QUESTION IS HOW MUCH OF A LIFE DO YOU HAVE ??? IF UR LETTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS GET TO YOU ??? LET HER BE THE WAY SHE IS AND DON'T FUSS ABOUT IT ......IT BECOMES A PROBLEM WHEN YOU START TO BE THAT WAY. IT'S PRETTY SAD, BUT SOMETIMES PEOPLE DO THINGS BY FORCE OF HABIT FOR EXAMPLE UR FREIND SHE PROBABLY IS NOT EVEN AWARE OF WHAT SHE'S DOING... IT COMES OUT OF HER NATURALLY...... SO TRYING TO CHANGE THAT IS LIKE TRYIN TO MAKE A DOG PURR THEN MEOW ...IMPOSSIBLE RIGHT !!!!! LEAVE HER BE AND LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU DO AND PRETTY SOON ALL THIS WILL BLOW OVER OR SHE WILL FIND A NEW VICTIM...... IGNORING HER WILL BORE HER AND BRINGING IT TO HER ATTENTION WILL PROBABLY EGG HER ON SO F**K IT JUST IGNORE HER

I know how annoying that can be. I have this problem with my neighbor and one of my friends. My mother always said "imitation is the most sincere form of flattery." It can be a pain though.

My advice is to let it go. Just think about all the pain & trouble your friend has to try & keep up with you. All you're doing is being you -- not too much effort there on your part.

If you let it go & don't let it bother you, you will be more content in the long run.

basing on what you stated, i think your friend is insecure about something you have that's innate so she's trying to make up for it by competing with you with material things.

question is, why is it bothering you? are you competing with her as well?

if it's just about your daughters' names getting mixed up, may i suggest you tell her to call her daughter by her nickname and call your daughter with the nickname you gave your girl. zoe and chloe only rhymes but is still pronounced differently.

Don't say anything, you'll just ruin a friendship. Maybe she does eveything bigger and better then you because she is jalouse of you. To have a good family doesn't mean you need everything bigger and better!!!
I would just maybe see her a little less so i would get less bothered by everything she does.

well they say that imitation is the best form of flattery. but its very annoying to say the least. if you say something you'll probably hurt her feelings, so you have to decide if possibly losing her friendship is worth it to you. if it's not then try not to worry about it and focus on the positive things in your friendship, and live your own life the way you and your family want to regardless of them always trying to one up you.
