I think it's the unresolved questions of a relationship that ends without words. For myself it was the stillness of words, having him never tell me what happened or why he wasn't communicating with me but created a wall that prevent me from ever reaching out to him again.

Yes, a met this guy about 3 yrs ago and ther ewas tons of passion and chemistry but it never really went anywhere for various reasons (although it could have been something)- I've been married since but cannot help to think what would have been if we did stay together. I'm happily married though and would not go to this guy even if he just showed up at my doorstep. He had his chance and missed it. But I wonder sometimes, how it would have been if we married, lived together etc. I did see him about 6 months ago at a club, with his girlfriend I guess- she looked like me alot- I see what kind of women he likes...

No one really. Yes I have some memories, but none that I drag out to rethink on. Guess you could say that they all burned me enough to know they aren't worth thinking of and definitely easy enough to forget.

yes, my ex-husband. We've been divorced for 6 years and I still haven't dealt with the physical, emotional and verbal abuse. That's hard to forget!

the guy i lost to cancer. he should have been an instructor on how to treat a lady. gentle ,polite, always helping me do anything i was doing, always gassed up my car, washed it,opened every door i ever went through with him, took me to work, picked me up,always introduced me to his friends(which my husband never did) he was always so happy to see me. my list goes on so much more, but you can see why i will never get over him,or replace him.

Yes. For me, it was the intimacy. We were perfect that way. Even though it was years ago, I still compare every experience to her.
