Do you think that is fair that we have to pay TV license for this awful BBC tv, why they can do what they want with our money with no explanation or consultation... You know what, i work very hard for my money and i find it absolutley unfair that i have to give my money for 20 of 24 hours of the worse tv of the world and still be treath with jail and fines...DEMOCRACY?...so look for your own money, look for your own commertials and justify your programation with your succes...not at my expenses...

O ' hell You know what I came from Jamaica yesterday after spending a month there. Now why is it that the so called third world countries can show it for free and somtimes very good movies, I saw one there a few days ago called Silent Hill staring Shawn Bean also many other good movies and some crap stuff too.

My point is that Its one thing in life that we should not have to pay for.

One channel ????

If they want to have a bussiness if their bussness, to force people to give money to them is disgusting, to the person who said is just 190 pounds i have to tell you that nobody gives me anything for free, and when you p ut the taxes, the council, the VAT, the rubish, the green tax, the Congestion charge and the price of maintaining the royalty what is left at the end end of my very hard days of work is really pitiful and unfair...they want to have 4 tv and 50 radio stations good for them...go get your own money... Moroon, thief...

OK for the TYV license we get 6 channels of ad free TV, 6 national radio stations (also ad free) and lots of local radio station, all ad free.

It seem a fair deal, and if you have an okay job, it's maybe a days pay at most.

Hiya, I AGREE WITH YOU. Why on earth do we have to pay for BBC 1 + BBC 2 and various BBC Radio Stations. All this because BBC wont use adverts on their stations. We should have a choice of being able to switch off BBC permanently so we don't have to pay. They would soon go out of business. Good Question this one.

totally agree it is robbery plain and simple, i have been fined numerous times for rebelling against the system...trouble is i ended up more out of pocket, the t.v.licence police used to peep through my windows and all sorts if i refused access or ignored the door, it is crap but we do have a choice of not watching it i suppose....thing is i love the football .....shall we start a campaign and have it abolished? or do we just succumb to this "democracy"?

Suggest you look at Tv licensing authority page and see exactly why you need a TV licence. Its not what you think.

Well---------------I suppose it's the "national" TV station, and it is nice to watch TV without all those awful adverts, still I'm with you, I think that most of what the show is rubbish!

i don't have one by way of fact I stay in manhattan and usa has in no way even heard of a television license, yet I used to stay in England and that i think of it rather is ridiculous. it rather is wayyyyyy overpriced for something you ought to no longer ought to pay for besides. merely yet another for the government to line their wallet with our no longer consumer-friendly earned funds
