In the movie The Departed, what's in the envelope that Dicaprio gives to the girl towards the end? I'm not entirely sure but I think its information she ends up giving to Walburgh. Is this right? Or what do you think?

That is what you are led to believe..but i think scorcese is leaving up to the viewer to decide. Kinda like the note the girl gave the cop in Babel..or what was in Marcel's briefcase in Pulp Fiction? The answer isn't nearly as important

the names and info of all the members of the nicholson's gang so that he could find all of them and i'm guessing bring them to justice...but i was sleeping during most of the middle bit of the movie...so i could be wrong about all the details. I thought that it had the cd of the recording of the call between damon and nicholson's characters which she was listening to on the stereo.

I think you're right. That was a great movie,with an awesome cast. I loved it.

It's never really addressed, but I think it was some sort of proof that got back to Wahlberg.......
