I assume you mean John F. Kennedy.

I'd definitely consider him a Liberal, in the truest sense (as opposed to the socialists who have hijacked the term). He believed in equal rights and freedom for all.

You won't hear many "liberals" today emulating him:

"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man."

He was a conservative. He secretely, detested FDR's policies because it added more government and created what he called "socialist measures". Kennedy was a politician and a member in the Democratic Party so he honored FDR and try to pass off as a liberal.

He is a drunk. He is liberal on self indulgence and conservative on sharing it with others. I assume you are talking about Ted Kennedy since your question is written in present tense. If it was J.F.K., I would have voted for him.

Are you nuts? Teddy is a left-wing socialist loony!

JFK would be considered a Conservative, in today's terms. Old school dems are more like today's republicans. Look at Zell Miller!

JFK was a Democratic President back in the days when that party was actually Pro-America and worked for the betterment of this country. I remember his speech "Ask not what your country can do for you.. but what you can do for your country".

He was more akin to what the republican party of today is. The Democratic party of today is a sad state of affairs. They have lost their roots in helping the common man and now are more worried with fringe politics such as controlling business and gay rights.

JFK was no conservative. He cut the top tax rate from 90% to 70%. BFD.

I'm a Republican, and still would have voted for him if he had run as a third party candidate in the last Presidential election. Things have really changed in forty years and the old term hardly have the same meaning.

IF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT JFK HE WAS AN OLD SCHOOL DEMOCRAT. HE WAS TOUGH ON FOREIGN POLICY. HE CUT TAXES WHILE MOST OF TODAY'S DEMS ONLY WANT TO RAISE TAXES. HE WAS ALSO A SOCIAL LIBERAL.

kennedy is a disgusting excuse for a human being.

At least he lives with the shame of knowing that no one will waste a bullet on him, prefering instead to let him suffer through his miserable existence.

Then you should have said jfk. he's dead. teddy's alive.

he is the poster child for "give it all away as long as it ant mine" liberalism.
just shows how unconcerned for the survival of this country that the "people" keep voting him in.
and now he wants to give the rest of it to the Mexicans.
