I know that the best way to express our thoughts would be to become involved democratically and vote, but if we want to say more?

I think this is a really important thing for us to be able to do, and there is not enough opportunity.

Let me tell you my idea of what we could do about it and please tell me what you think.

We could make a forum ourselves for everyone to be able to discuss ideas we want to suggest to the government. We discuss them online until we have them in a good solid format, and then we send them to the government with a good solid backing of everyone on the forum, making them pay more attention. That way everyone can be involved much more closely in the process, and together we can make sure we are heard.

What do you think?

You could write to him directly at the White House website. He has an email address for general letters posted there. But you can count on one thing- no matter what you write of your thoughts they won't get through to someone who has no thoughts.
