She/He still gets alimony. Her/His entitlement does not come from her/his gender but from being married to you. And at the time the two of you were married, it was legal.

I read this article as well and it said that the law read that only if she remarries or dies, the alimony would stop. That's where I think this man should fight having to pay alimony. She, in a sense, is dead. She is now a man, she changed her name, and the woman she used to be no longer exists, according to her own will and doing. I think this man's lawyers should use this avenue to fight the alimony. If their state doesn't recognize same sex marriages, it is impossible for these two to ever reconcile. If she feels she was a man all along in a woman's body, she should have to pay back the alimony. If they are going to uphold this in court, then they should ban sex changes!

Wow, what a question. I would say no. She is a man now. She change her identity and her life. She is no more. So you should not have to pay alimony to him now.
