Anyone with dark skin ever had this operation? How does the scar turn out? I would really like to hear from anyone that ever had a breast enlargement operation. The idea of having something under my skin makes me wonder if one can ever get used to it or sleep well. Pliz share what you know

I'm black, and I have dark sink, and I've had breast implants. I had the implants put in through my nipple. The scar is pretty noticeable one of my nipples has a dark scaring, and the other has a light raised scar. I don't know if you ever looked at pictures of AA women who have had breast augmentation, but if you do you should really look close at their nipple (save the pictures and zoom in if you have to) and you can see the scar. Having breast implants feel just like regular breast. I'm a tummy sleeper and they never bothered me (and I got big one DD's). If you are prone to keloids like me and you don't want a scar, I would suggest talking about alternative methods of entry with your doctor. You could go through the belly button and not have a scar at all (this hurts more and takes longer to heal though).

Unless the implants are placed through the nipple, or you need additional breast "adjustment", you can have the inserts placed through the armpit (or navel, but I don't recommend that one) and so there'd be little to no noticeable scarring.

Do some research online for the various methods of breast enlargements, and the pros and cons of each. A friend of mine had it done a week ago, through the nipple, but apparently there should be minimal scarring when it heals...but she's white, and I understand dark skin does scar differently (different color).

You are probably wondering about whether you'll be prone to keloids because it is more common in us african americans. If you ever had a keloid before from surgery or ear piercing then you'll probably get a keloid from breast augmentation. I never had breast implants but I think it depends on how big you want them to be will determine how much it will affect you after you get them.

They can place them into your breasts from the armpit or belly button. Then there would be no really visible scar.
