No - join the homeowners association. Then you can walk around and grade everybody ELSE'S lawn. You can even be the treasurer and buy a bunch of rainbow ribbons, explaining to the association that the multi-colored ribbons were less expensive that the standard blue ribbons. Tick off your Bible tossing, tree planting, homophobic neighbor by giving them a rainbow ribbon for their tree. (Then fine them the following week for messing up the neighborhood)

Great (and even with your neighbor's leaves blowing across).
Botony is a good field (but doesn't pay that well). On the other hand professional landscapers make quite a lot of $$$.

where do you live?....you had leaves blowing in your yard now your flowers look good?....here in Chicago everything is still dead and brown.....I'm coming over.....no you should not become a botanist....it will take your time away from us....
