I am trying to advertise my sons truck in News on Wheels. The pictures need to be less than 1mb, the picture that I am trying to down load is 123kb. How do I get this picture to download? Not sure what to do.

123KB is less than a MB, you should have no problems uploading the picture. 1024kb would be a megabyte.

123 kb is way less than 1 mb. It is .123 of a mb (notice the decimal point)
1mb = 1000kb.

I guess u mean upload onto the web for people to see.
A few ways reduce size.. using Paint (Start > All Programmes > Accessories)
1.) if it is .bmp format, change it to jpeg.
2.) Resize the picture (Very effective!) Picture will be smaller thou...

Open it with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 which you can download it for free. than save it agian! It will ask you for quality and set it to zero! It doesn't really affect the quality of the image but makes it in few kb!
You can try to open it by paint and save it to jpeg or gif file.

123 kb is less than 1 mb. 1 mb = 1000 kb.
You should be ok.

Your 123kb picture is already smaller than 1mb.
1mb = 1000kb.
You should be able to upload it as is.

if you have photoshop use the image size under image.
if you dont use paint and you will have to use image and click the strech and you will either minus it or add to it. it gets confusing but it you dont want to pay for photoshop you take a chance at it.
