I once saw Keith Chegwin completely drunk in Liverpool city center.He was swigging vodka from the bottle and singing "careless whisper" at the top of his voice.I asked him for an autograph but he roared at me like a lion and threw a half eaten burger at me.He then ran away shouting "Go tell it to the world,you just got chegged"This happened at two o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon.Does he or did he have a drink problem and what did he mean about getting "chegged"? Think you'll find he's a lot more sober now, he works for GMTV. He was so drunk when he went on Good Morning a few years ago when they woke him up he didn't know where he was or what he was supposed to be doing according to Richard and Judys autobiography.
