They are. Especially Christmas. I try to show my children more than what is on t.v. so they get more meaning of the holiday and what it is that we are celebrating

When some stores have Christmas stuff out before Halloween, then you know it's getting crazy. All the holidays are too commercialized.

Me! I really have discouraged the practice of giving presents for Easter. I have really tried to celebrate the holiday because of the reason for it. Jesus Christ rose from the dead. My family still does the token baskets, candy, & eggs but I really want my family to celebrate His resurrection because that is why the holiday exists.

I do, especially when one holiday is barely over & the stores are stocking their shelves for the next holiday. Sheesh!!!!

They totally are, some more than others, especially Christmas. I miss the good old days when all you had to worry about was getting up your stocking on the mantle for Christmas.
