The two-party system is inadequate at best. Worse, it is morally and intellectually bankrupt. How can we do away with this system and let each lawmaker stand on the merits of his/her ideas and the courage of his/her convictions?

I think that the american people should call for a general provision stating that the general election should be wide open for anyone to run for office. Being forced to choose any party has passed it's time. We need to ask for a referrendum to open up the election field so that not, not only millionaires can run for office.

How wonderful that a great intellectual like you has happened on the scene. Dismantle a system that has served America well since she was founded just because you had a brain fart and decided everything and everyone involved is morally and intellectually bankrupt.

You dunce! That would be like trying to run a soccer game with every player on the field belonging to a different team. Nothing would ever get accomplished!

Please, crawl back into your Y2K bunker and let the serious people have a conversation.

If we the people took back some of our own power from government, there wouldn't be so much at stake for the ruling class, and they wouldn't put so much effort into grabbing the remaining power.
