I bought the cable to transfer files & setting from my old XP machine to my new Vista machine. It was suppose to come with Laplink PCsync software but when I opened the package, the CD was for USB Parallel Printer Adapter for Windows 98SE & ME. It was also a tiny little CD just 3" wide, not regular size. I emailed Belkin & they said nobody had a similar complaint. The package was totally heat sealed in a plastic clamshell thing. Unless someone at the factory was playing a joke, I don't know how this happened. I'll be returning it for a refund. Has this happened to anyone else or have you heard of it?

Things happen. No system is perfect, although some are quite close.

I'd certainly return it to the store. There shouldn't be any trouble exchanging it.
