Are there any good ORIGINAL singers out there anymore?
All the finalists sound like Kareokee singers at best and that stupid acting front runner chick is fooling nobody. OH, she doens't know she has a professional voice? Give me a break!
I hope Sanjaya wins just in spite of this lousy show.

Name one freaking person you would go see in concert and listen to for 2 freaking hours?
I'm still laughing at the ones who think Blake is so great. BORING and his voice has no range at all. and his stupid bebopping is retarded too.

Yes. AI is loosing it's flavor and hitting sour notes all over the place. There is no excitement this year and nobody is standing out. This season is dry and boring. The past seasons have been really good with great singers who had good stage presence.
Sanjaya is getting too cocky. He thinks he has this thing in the bag because all the talk is about him. It is like he purposely did what he did last night with the hair just to say take that, ha-ha, I am still in the competition. He won't be laughing if the joke is on him and he is the one to get sent home tonight.
If he wins, this could be the beginning of the end for AI. It is not about the singing anymore, it is about popularity.
Really sad.

Oh my God! I said the same thing last night to my daughter! This is the worst American Idol Season so far! It f*cking sucks to the max! I'm so glad that I didn't even waste my time watching the auditions. I can not stand Sanjaya. All of a sudden he thinks he's some type of hair God! He's not even good looking! Last night his tired @ss look like a duck on crack! LMAO! Oh I just can't take much more of this show. I keep saying if Sanjaya's @ss isn't kicked off this show tomorrow, I'm not watching it anymore. And Haley.......what's up with her with all of her @ss hanging out? The name of the show is American Idol not American Sluts Do Idol! That ***** has to go too! As a matter of fact I say just wipe the TV show clean, clear the floor of everyone.......and lets start all over again. It's at a point where I have to take medication just to watch American Idol this season. Now that's a damn shame!

Yeah Melinda always acts like she has no talent and is so surprised when she makes it into the next week! Jordin Sparks and Blake are the only 2 people this year that are unique. Everyone thinks LaKisha and Melinda are the best but they both bug the crap outta me. They sound the same when they sing! GRRR! American Idol is so boring this year. I hate it!! I want someone good that doesn't sound like everyone else. Yeah I hate Sanjaya! I think the only 2 people that deserve a spot in the Final Rounds are Jordin and Blake. THEY ARE UNIQUE! COME ON PEEPS VOTE FOR THEM!

Funny, but I was just thinking the same. Nobody really stands out ~ my favorites just because they seem nice are Gina and Phil. And, yes, that wide-eyed "who me?" act is getting on my nerves also with the "front runner" as you describe her. Sanjaya actually is ending up to be the most entertaining; and if he won, it would really be a kick! I'm predicting at best only one more season of AI.

This became the worst 365 days ever. The down fall began very last season and only were given worst. all of them might want to sing yet no longer okay to win a nationwide skills instruct. i tried to carry in there as a consistent viewer, then Tim became referred to as decrease back. I lost activity. Then the whiners and screamers stayed. Then the finest 2. This became a foul 365 days. Oh! then Paula did not go back. Ellen brokers made a deal and there she became as a decide in a making a music contest. AI will opt to do a large make over for next 365 days to keep us previous dependable visitors.

I disagree. I think Blake is original. Down with Sanjaya....if he wins, I will quit watching. The teenagers can have their own show. We need an entertainer to win.

No way, there are some major players this time, but for whatever reason there are some really sucky people sticking around. I hope to God Sanjaya gets voted off this week.

Yeah, none of them seem to really stand out. They all kinda blend in together. Well, Sanjaya stands out, but that's only because he can't sing.

I agree with you. I am not impressed by the standard this year.
Some of the voices are pretty good but it is not unique anymore. Nevertheless, the craze is going to be there for all the wannabe singers.
