both bands that you had mentioned can be classified as 70's bands, but as far as "easy listening rock of the 80's and 90's", you have to mention U-2, INXS, Duran Duran, Genesis, B-52's, Bon Jovi, Mr. Big, Van Halen (especially jams from the OU812 and 5150 CDs) and Tesla (just to name a few)...
