I LOVE it!

I am all for uncommon names and although Connor is gaining some popularity, it is still one of my favorites. And Connor Drake sounds very....manly and sophisticated to me!!

Congrats on the baby!

Mmm. Would suggest a double syllable middle name. Always sounds more literary. Is there a particular reason for the name "Drake"? If not I would suggest Gavin instead. It is derived from the medieval name of "Gawain" which means Hawk and originated in Wales. This would also connect the surname Jones which also has extremely strong Welsh connections. Incidently the name Connor has origins in Gaelic Ireland and refers to an early Irish king, it is also reputed to mean "Wolf Lover".

Connor Gavin Jones or Gavin Connor Jones would would represent a very strong link to medieval Gaelic and Celtic history along with strong charachter representations through the "Hawk" and the "Wolf"

Just to complete everything, "Drake" comes from the English word meaning "male duck", but on a more romantic level it is also believed to be derived from the Norwegian name "Draki" which means "Dragon"

All that's probably made things harder for you..... Sorry.

I don't think it flows to be quite honest. My nephew's first name is Drake, I thought it was different.
Connor is cute but popular now. That's not a bad thing though. I have Nathan Thomas and DeAndre Jacob very popular (with the exception of DeAndre) but traditional names.
What about Connor Nathaniel
I feel like Connor is more a middle name by nature. You can put millions of first names with it and they all sound good.
It is a cute First name you just need a middle name that flows.
