What type of snake and how big?
I have a ball python and he squeezes but nothing that hard, do not let him wrap around your neck that is for sure.

Maybe some more info will help if you do not mind telling the type and size of the snake.

Thanks

What kind of heat source is being used to help the snake regulate its body temperature? It sounds like it might be too cold. Does this tend to happen more around the week after it eats? If so, it is definitely not warm enough. Snakes can't regulate their body temp and need warm and cool places in its cage to go to help them regulate it. After a snake eats, it needs to warm up in order to stimulate it's digestive system and to be able to process it's food. I hope this helps.

You might want to check in this more closely because some snake get to big to be kept as pets and ending hurting or killing their owners every year. there was a show on animal planet that I watched and saw where a snake had killed it's owner.
