How far along should you be when you make the baby registry?? thanks

I think 5-6 months is good. I didn't start mine til I was just over 7 months and really wish I would have started sooner!

I would say that it depends on if you have a lot of people wanting to buy you and your baby things. If people are asking you what you want for the baby or have started buying you baby items then register a.s.a.p. But if you're not very picky about people buying you what they like, then go ahead and wait until a few weeks before your invitations go out for your baby shower. It's really up to you and your specific situation.

i did my registry at about 25 weeks, i wanted to know the sex of the baby and look around at different stores before i registered

We did ours at about 26 weeks and are still adding things. It is good to have an idea before you go into the store otherwise you just end up staring at everything with you mouth open... there are so many choices, especially in places like Babies R Us. Good luck and have fun!

i just did mine at 4 1/2 months. It takes forever to go through the store but it's fun. You have alot to go through so wear comfy shoes. Do it when you want to. Doesn't matter how far along just as long as your pregnant. Good luck

Do it when you want and let people know when they start asking where it is. You can always update online at sites like Target and Walmart and Baby's R US. It's pretty fun just to look and dream. =-) Enjoy and Congrats

I am 5 months along, and have started mine, but I also have been buying stuff of it myself. It's like a guideline for the things I need.

it really is up to you when you want to register.
But you can always register when you are showing a bit which would probably be 6 mos or so...

personally...i would want to start it as soon as i find out ...however it may be best to wait and find outthe sex...but lay around with it for now if you'd like! ...and congrats on your pregnancy! good luck and target it greatttt!!!
