The range of sin(x) is from -1 to 1. Since the RHS expression is positive, you are only interested in the 0-1 range.

Now |x|/10 <= 1 on the interval -10 to 10, roughly -3pi to 3pi.

Sketch a graph of sin(x) on this interval and you should see three "peaks". The absolute value function will cut through each peak twice, once on the "upslope" and once on the "downslope". Thus six solutions.

Want to find the solutions? Use a graphing calculator or other numeric technique.

The only way I can think of solving the equation is by graphing it. Assuming x is in radians then the two semi-lines of
mod(x)/10 will cross the sine curve six times if that is the answer.

You did not state whether x is measured in degrees or radians.
