I love my wireless keyboard cause I can move it around easily if I am gonna use the desk for something, however, you should either get lots of batteries or rehargable batteries and a recharger. A wireless mouse goes through batteries faster. If you have to move the keyboard around a lot, then go with wireless. If it is pretty much stationary, go with wired.

It depends. If your keyboard is just going to be sitting on a desk then get a wire keyboard, easy setup and no batteries. If you want to be able to put the keyboard in you lap and move around with it get a wireless one.

Ok, wire keyboards are the traditional just infront of your PC situation, and wireless keyboards are if your a very busy move around person who needs it to move around and still be able to do your internet thing. I personally perfer wire b/c if you break a sensor on the wireless one your gonna have to buy a new one.

Hi. I went wireless and never looked back. The mouse uses the most battery power because it gets used more so I keep a set of rechargeable cells on hand and ready to go.

I prefer wireless.
I got a logitech wireless combo, the KB batteries last me about 2-3 months and the mouse has its charging dock.

Both offer the exaxt same functions.
The advantage to a wireless unit is less cable clutter & for those with a VGA connection to ther TV .... easy to keep the keyboard on your coffee table.
