Millions of Americans grew up in families where every generation has served & will continue to serve our country. These people never complain or doubt the current administration. They don't find fault and try to divide the people, and never put-down the USA.
They are MORE THAN PROUD to be an AMERICAN.

You know as a military wife, with 3 small children, you have no idea how nice it is just to hear things like this once in a while. Its a hard life I won't lie, but all in all its worth it. To ensure our children have a future. Our families miss out on a lot of the present in order to ensure a future.
Thank you so much for you kind words.
Proof that patriotism isn't dead!!!

I don't see how it's a good thing to never doubt the administration. Not all administrations do the right thing. Some actually do quite horrible things and I don't think it's right that the people who serve the country don't give it some thought whether what they are doing is good or bad, right or wrong. I don't see what's so great about fighting for a bad cause. The military is supposed to serve the country (that is, the constitution and the well-being of the nation), not just whatever crazy idea the current administration gets.

A lot of people who have served for their country deserve appreciation and honor, but in my opinion there are also some who don't.

The people who put down the USA are not the people who oppose bad decisions but the people who make those bad decisions and those who foolishly support them and give the USA a bad name.

Yes, I do believe its time to honor them. My husband and I do everything we know how to do so. We belong to the Patriot Guard Riders and we attend funerals of fallen heroes holding the Flag, giving honor to those. There is always something we can do. We know people who send packages overseas. One little girl here in Michigan has spent countless hours sending packages, blankets, and so forth to Iraq. Recently she was honored by the DAR for her actions. She is a fine example of how to honor the military.

So complaining makes anyone less to be an American?

I know plenty of soldiers, plenty of military families who curse at the government. I know plenty more Americans who curse at the government.

Maybe someday you'll realize that being Proud to be an American doesn't mean you have to agree with EVERYTHING your government does.

The problem is that not everybody is American, or believes in their foreign policies.
