We are in a small office of only a few rooms, with only four people. The interior doors stay open, and there is only one thermostat. Some like it very warm, and some like it a more moderate temperature. I came in this morning and the thermostat was set to 84 (F) degrees, with the heat going full blast. I'm trying to find out what a normal accepted temperature is. Any opinions?

Notice I'm asking for individual preferences, NOT "normal". From the responses I will determine an average, plus award a best answer. No smart-*** answers will be selected.

There is no such thing as a "normal accepted temperature". High-end hotels, for example, know this and record the guests' thermostat settings so that they can set the thermostat to a guest's preferred temperature when he/she stays in the hotel again.

As women push for less and less restriction on what they can wear...resulting in them wearing less and less... the temp has risen to accomodate them. Meanwhile men are still wearing long sleve shirts in the summer in officers turned up to 78° so women can wear skirts and tank tops.

74-76 degrees is comfortable. You must have women that work there. For some reason, we are always cold. Sorry.
