Was the 12th the last day of your February cycle or the first day? Common cycles are normally between 23 to 35 days. If the 12th was your last day, today would be your 44th day. Is your menstrual cycle regular, meaning you get your period within the same time of the month? If that's the case, your period is delayed. But there are different reasons why a woman can be irregular, and this does not necessarily mean pregnancy. Most of us have missed a period at one point or another because of anxiety or tension.

Since you admit to having sex (whether protected or not) during the past month, it's best to take the pregnancy test. If you had sex ten days ago and fertilization took place, the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone or hCG, which is the hormone produced by the placenta about ten days after fertilization, can already be detected. The hCG has the highest concentration in your first pee after you wake up.

Take the test.

Stress can affect your cycle. If you are feeling any other symptoms like tender or swollen breasts, nausea, or if your period does not get here within the next several days then I would do a pregnancy test. It is very possible you can be pregnant especially if u had unprotected sex. See your doctor.
