You shouldn't have to worry too much about top contributers much...they took away most of them. Now, you only get one if you are at the 10% above with your best answers. So, a person like me with 17,000 points and only 6% best answers will give my badge up for a contributer of only 1700 who has a 10% best answer time. Fair? I contribute more and the newbie gets the award.

I get a check about every month or so. The health insurance is ok, the dental though rocks. I'm still waiting on my stock options though.
