I'm asking because it seems to me that most cats lovers, also has a soft spot for horses and horse lovers also loves cat. Not all anomal lovers loves all animal. Most dog lovers don't like cat for example.

Most horse lovers have a soft spot for cats because of the rats in the barn. I have a horse and 3 cats and 4 dogs. No barn....I just love animals...

We had three horses, Granny a Quarter Horse, completely kid-proof old darling, Misty an Arabian/morgan, completely free spirited but gentle when not saddled, and Breezy a chesnut paint, the best horse there ever was, saddle trained and jumping at 5 years old. I'll miss her. Someone stole her and let her go on the road and some guy jacked up on meth hit her three years ago. I've missed her every day.
We also had twelve cats(three indoor and the rest outdoor). We love all animals, except I cant get over hating Huskies and German Shepherds. Sorry, its personal and stuff.
We never had a problem with having cats and horses. Nothing happened ever and we never found a dead cat or scratched horse. So i'm not sure what the question was for, but thats my answer.

I have a cat and a horse. As someone else pointed out, a lot of horse people like having cats around because they control the rat & mouse population. I just love cats and horses; my cat is indoor, so she's never hung out with my horse.
The lady who owns the barn where I board at loves dogs, though, especially big dogs like German Shepherds and Boxers, but she keeps the dogs mostly indoors. She doesn't really like cats, but she'll always keep 3 or 4 around simply because they control the rodent population. My trainer has both dogs and cats who get along fine; she loves both. :)

I have 9 horses and I am a dog lover. I have cats though to eat the mice in the barn.

i have horses and i used to have a cat he's probley still around the farm somewhere lol anyways the cat used to sleep on the horses back it was cute and ur question is confusing ! ! ! ! ! !

Let me tell you, i have 2 dogs, 3 catsa guinea pig and a horse i love them all more than anything and equally....!!! but what you say seems to be true in most cases.
