Wm.Shakespeare wrote his first actual sonnet to a woman impersonator John Hughes - John gave the manuscript to a writer call of Thomas Thorpe and so it is going. regrettably, none of Wm.Shakespeare's unique manuscripts stay to tell the story and the reason for it particularly is by using fact while the performs have been ultimately catalogued in [i think of] the sixteenth century, the publishers did no longer think of the originals have been of any importance. What we do have besides the undeniable fact that, are the 1st actual printed variations of William's performs. Who inspired WS? it particularly is a perplexing one. there continues to be an ongoing debatge/argument approximately who the particularly author of the performs grow to be. some say that it ought to no longer have been WM for the reason that there exists hardly ever any actual data for this. issue is, if a pupil comes up with what's known to be the actual identity of the playwrite and enable's say the call is John Dow - are we going to make certain a play referred to as twelfth night via a John Dow? in all probability no longer. one extra piece of counsel approximately William Shakespeare. each and daily one thousand productions of William's performs circulate on point all over the area. Is there yet another like William? And, why the fascination along with his performs? What precisely are interior the performs of Wm.Shakespeare? All of existence - homicide, conflict, loss of existence, incest. You call it - extra violence than a considerable Hollywood Blockbuster. in case you will possibly choose to make certain an up thus far [Nineteen Forties] version of Romeo and Juliet, see the action picture "Westside tale" - it particularly is all in there, highway gangs, turf wars, purely how William wrote it - extra or much less, yet minus all those thees and thous etc. the main severe 'present' which Wm. Shakespeare gave to the worldwide is purely that he placed each and one and all human beings on point - "each and all the worldwide is a point....etc". We even use the term "the worldwide point". So, do no longer ignore, it particularly is beginning night. there isn't any prepare consultation. it particularly is the huge one. circulate accessible and make it your suitable. Oh sure, no loitering interior the wings. ultimately, i think of...what's the colour maximum linked with Wm.Shakespeare? eco-friendly..."This eco-friendly and friendly land. This England.....etc.

Hamlet is generally considered to be considered his finest work along with Richard III ... I would have to say Richard III because Shakespeare goes much more into depth with a character study of Richard - his faults, the reasons why he acts like he does (he is handicapped and quite bitter). Hamlet is also a very psychological play, but I think Shakespeare did he best character work with Richard III. Pax - C.

The best play ever written by Shakespeare is Hamlet.

To Be or Not To Be (need I say more).

Many brilliant speeches, many interpretations - this play has actually influenced Western culture and is still reverberating now and forever.

I'm gonna have to say Hamlet, but then again I agree with Romeo and Juliet. I'd say Romeo and Juliet because I see a lot of plays about it and I hear about it too. Plus, this could be right because I'm in the IB program which means that I am in the International Baceloria Program.

Tragedy: "Hamlet", because it's the most profound and multiple play, in aspects of both psychology and performance. Comedy: "The mercant Of Venice", because it's got the most cleverly organised plot and a variety of perpetual meanings. Sonnets: Sonnet No 116, because it contains the gist of love.
This is my personal opinion, of course.

i like "a midsummer night's dream" because it's really funny (once you get past the language like the previous person said)...i've read it quite a few times and the more i do, the more absurdity i pick up on...there's also a lot of irony and wit...

My personal favorite is Macbeth. It is full of ambition, which leads to murder, which leads to madness.

It also has one of my favorite lines:
By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes.
