No, simply because if they did manage to win, it would've been because of Grossman. Like it or not, he's their biggest flaw and in order for Chicago to win against a good team, he needs to have a good game. As it stands, he has a hard enough time playing mediocre games so it wasn't like Chicago had a chance to win anyway. But its almost guaranteed that he would've had an awesome game if they would've won. So he, not Urlacher, most likely would've been chosen as the MVP.

What's where he's from have to do with anything? Jack...
Urlacher had a much better game than Manning and should have got it before him... But in the end, Rhodes was the man who really should have got the MVP.
Also, the MVP doesn't have to do with the winning team.

No. Urlacher had a mediocre game, at best. Yes, he blocked Peyton's first pass, but if you noticed Manning sized up Urlacher and then took him out of the game.
Is he one of, if not the best, LB in the game today? Sure. But I don't think he would have won MVP honors if they would have won. To get that, he would have had to hav 2 INTs or forced a couple of fumbles and had them run back for TDs.

No. He didn't contribute enough in the defense to stop Peyton or anyone else. If the Bears had by some miracle won, then it would have been Grossman or Hestner that got the MVP

No. Defensive players don't win many MVP awards although some of them really are their teams MVP. If you ask me...Charles Haley was the Cowboy's MVP during their first superbowl season but Aikmen and Smith took all of the glory.

it rather is a no longer consumer-friendly one, Joe Montana is from Western PA and Terry Bradshaw performed for Pittsburgh for a protracted time. the two had gifted communities, and between the excuses that Joe Montana in no way threw an interception became by way of his group, and specifically Jerry Rice. i could pass with Terry Bradshaw by way of fact he became able to do it in much less time. In those six years the known public of the Pittsburgh Steelers stayed intact, San Francisco had some alterations in those 9 years to stay aggressive. i in my opinion do in comparison to evaluating in this form in spite of the undeniable fact that, by way of fact Troy Aikman gained 3 superbowls interior the 4 years. All 3 gamers had a solid group in the back of them.

Urlacher is pretty overrated. I think the Bears could do without him and still be okay.
