Yes, especially when I have to install something on the rear deck of the car.
I never could screw very good in the back seat!

No, after continuous wrist actions my forearms are as thick as young saplings....however I find the heavy callouses to be a bit uncomfortable.

...when my girlfriend is not around hand screwing makes my wrist ( right hand btw ) tired - regular screwing just makes my nuts numb

I exercise my wrist a couple of times a day so it won't get tired.
